Shortly about us: My girlfriend (19) and I (21) are both college students in Hungary, who come from rather modest families. On weekdays we study at college, and on the weekends we work in the nearest factory. We both stuggle to pay for our accomodation and monthly needs, but unlike me, she never receives any financial support from her parents, because her family can barely make ends meet.
She's studying to become an accountant and is going begin her second year in September, but she might not be able to finish it due to the rapidly worsening pandemic situation and the insane inflation induced by the Ukranian war. Supposing the pandemic situation becomes worse, our employers might decide to stop employing students temporarily. In this case she will have to pause her education for an indefinite period or She Will have to increase her monthly loan.
She is already in an approximately 2800 dollars student debt (counting with the current exchange rate and which is worth significantly more in Hungary than in the USA), which is going to take at least a decade to pay back.
She is going to become 20 years old on September 28, and I wish to surprise her with money that could possibly cover her education, őr at least with a bit of financial support.
