This is Haly, a high school teacher from Cambodia. Our school, Chhnuor Meanchey high school, is located in the rural area and we have students from grade 7 to 12 with the total number of 789 students. We have approximately 40 students per class and 12 computers in our lab. Students are having computer class two hours per week. Since we have up to 19 classes and more students per class, each students could practise around 20 - 30 minutes in class as other students will come and use the same computer. Seeing this situation of my students' computer class, I wish to do something more for them. I wish I could find the 10 second-hand desktop computers where one costs around 250 US dollar as market price in Cambodia. I don't wish to have any late beautiful computer, but looking for ones my students could use Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel is enough. 2,500 UD dollars is my first fundraising goal.
