Help Save micheals Life. With a heavy heart and deep sadness, we have to create a fundraiser for Mr. Wasiu. Wasiu is 46 years old and in ICU on life support and counting days. He was diagnosed with a Stage 4 brain tumor - glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). Glioblastomas are the most aggressive type of cancer that begins within the brain. On April 8, 2019, he had a sudden seizure and collapsed. He was immediately taken into emergency & later, he was admitted to St Joseph's hospital and medical center. After numerous tests, MRI’s, and CT scans, doctors confirmed it is an aggressive and fast-growing brain tumor. He underwent 6 surgeries in the past 2 years. He was in a coma for months and he spent all the money he has and he took some loans too. The Surgery was successful and Wasiu was back on his feet again he went back to his work to make ends meet and to be able to settle the loans he took for his treatment. Lately, he started developing some ailments to the extent he couldn’t walk properly only with the aid of a walking stick. He went to the hospital and the doctors referred him for some tests it was discovered that he had suffered a relapse and inflammation and the operation site where the first surgery three years ago is an accumulator of cranial fluid. Wasiu has been scheduled for another surgery and he has to be in the hospital next week Monday. We have started this uphatter account to raise some money for Mr. Arowosaye Wasiu so that he can live again and be a living testimony to others with a brain tumour. We are so incredibly thankful for you taking the time to read our story and for you to have Wasiu in your hearts and in your prayers.
