We are a family of 4. I have had my own business for the last 5 years. But due to the massive negative impact covid and the lack of steel in the industry had on my business recently, I had no choice but to liquidate my business. Loosing everything I worked for. Our government provided smme funding for businesses in need, but My business did not qualify, reason being the business is not 51% black owned. It is very hard doing this as I am a proud man. However I do need to provide for my family. We had to cut alot of expenses, but still connot survive only on one salary. It feels like our dreams has been shattered, when the business was doing well we decided to start our migration process, all for the future of our kids. Better, safer life and bright future for our children. We are on our final stages for the migration, but we do not have the funding to continue.
