Hi everyone! My name is Rebecca. I am a transgender woman, and only recently came out. I am a really passionate and ambitious person, but a truckload of bad luck tumbled my life upside down! I only need some help to reach my goals and survive a bit to get on my feet. So, I am currently a student at stellenbosch University in South Aftica, final year and aiming toward postgrad studies. I would love to become a lecturer and teach others, sharing knowledge while exploring the world! My field: philosophy and ancient studies. To be able to study, obviously I need to live close to the university and somehow feed myself while also paying tuition fees. But, since coming out I lost my job! I lost my source of income and have been doing every bit of freelance work I can since then to stay afloat. Another thing, which is unrelated, somehow my device was hacked and I lost all investments and my accounts were cleared out. Above that, I recently started hormone therapy, and I wish to become the beautiful woman on the outside that I am on the inside. Since my financial situation began, I have been skimping on this though, and on things that I really need in order to successfully transition. I am not writing this to complain, but to seek help in order to get out on top so that I too can give back to the world and make a change! So that I too can have an opportunity to share my ideas and change lives. I wish to show the world and the people around me that it's okay to be who you are. And I want to give back! It's just become difficult, because of being misunderstood. And if I gave up now, what would it have helped?? I would really like to ask for help in the form of donations. The donations will be used for university, for accommodation, and medical attention so I can successfully transition! I plan on starting a Instagram page and hope to mention all the contributors! Also, perhaps give a little something back for your support. I am starting a small business (still only starting out, so no income), doing design and all sorts of product development.
