Hello, my name is Kate. It had started in 2019 when I was hospitalised with major depressive disorder. After the doctors let me go home I decided to start a new life and I applied to university. My goal was to sucsesfully finish the university and my parents were very helpful for me to achieve my dreams. The first half year was very hard for me, I continiusly suffered with depression. I wanted to find a job to help my parents and my brother. I ended with lot of tears and being alone and terminate contact with my friends and family. I didnt go to school anymore because it was psychically so hard for me. I was fired from the university. After several meetings with doctors in 2020 I again got energy and applied again to the same university. The winter semester was ok, but after the new year my family got in financial problems. My dad suffers in depression, he stopped working. My moms income is very low. I lost strenght again and I let the depression have the power over me. In May 2021 i was hospitalised again with depression and generalised anxiety disorder. While I was in hospital my mum tried to earn money to not to lose our home. It was founded out that my dad didnt paid for the flat over 3 years. We were sad that we can lose our home. I dont want to imagine my family ending on the streets. After i got home from the hospital, I found a job and I started working. Teachers in the school gave me a second chance to continue studying. Now I am studying and working with depression and anxiety and it is very hard for me and my family. My moms and my finance isnt enought to pay lawyer or pay the bills and the money for the house we own. I am very afraid, that is why I am asking for help. I love my family so much and all I want is to feel safe financially and be happy with them.
