Edward Mbewe is a 8 year old amputee, right leg amputed at age 4 years after leg was crushed by a truck and doctors had no option but to amputate it. What makes his story sad is that the driver of the truck did nothing for the boy up to now. His Mother has no means to fend for him due to a mental disability hence the need for well wishers to assist. Currently he stsys in a dilapidated hostel meant for single men in a small room currently accommodating 15 people thus the extended family. Edward currently needs a prosthetic, walking aids and assist in his medical. He is very athletics he can be seen competing in athletics with able bodied friends and playing soccer too.
