I am Mr. Vishal P Paranjape, and I am the president of Gram Sewa Sangh, Nagpur. We are an NGO who have been working directly towards the betterment and development of people living in slums and villages. We also provide the children living in these areas with basic education in the form of tuitions and complete academic material throughout the year. As we all know, Covid-19 has affected Maharashtra the worst. The current lockdown means that these poor people have been left without any source of income. They do not have enough food, and also lack basic sanitation and hygiene resources to survive the ongoing crisis. Many families have already been affected by the virus. The next few weeks are very critical and we want to help and support these families during these difficult times. We wish to donate preventive kits, food kits, grocery, dairy products, and basic amenities to all such families and ensure that they survive the pandemic that has spread widely though out these areas. We want to support their needs and make sure they are healthy and immune enough to fight the contagious virus. Here is breakdown of our estimated expenses: ·
Food kits – Rs.80000·
Grocery – Rs.50000·
Preventive kits – Rs.6000·
Medicine and dairy products – Rs.4000.
This sums up to Rs.140000, that is, one lac rupees. We have a database of all families who may who need our help and support and we will distribute these items at their doorsteps with the help of our volunteers at our NGO. You can visit our website www.gramsewasangh.org.in for more details and questions regarding our cause. I have started this fundraiser campaign to seek help from all you kind hearted people. You can help these people by contributing to our cause. Let us unite in this fight against Covid-19. Please donate and contribute. Stay safe.
