As part of my visits to very remote areas in the country, I visited a community where I met Uncle Sammy, a 45 years old man who is suffering from a wound on the leg which is in a serious condition. The wound started 25 years ago as a small cut from a cutlass and has never healed till today. The wound has got so severe that it’s become very difficult for him to walk now. Uncle Sammy is a pauper with no wife and kids to support him.
