Deprive communities in Ghana have suffered for so many years now, which have left the country in grip of the biggest humanitarian crisis in deprive communities.
Abu ( age 10 ) from a family of 5, his parents and senior sister lost their sight ( blind ) when he was only1 year old. He is now greater risk of losing sight ( going blind ). Eye diseases are quickly becoming the biggest problem faced by over 3.4 million women and children in deprive communities. Ophthalmology, optometrists and ophthalmic nurses are refusing to go there because, the people in deprive communities are very poor and cannot afford to pay for the eye examination and treatment.
Blindness cannot be used as punishment for deprive communities, children should not be made to suffer suffer for being born into poor families or deprive communities.
Join our appeal to help protect Abu and other families in deprive communities to make it through this crisis.
We are working tirelessly find solutions to make sure children in deprive communities get good eye examination and treatment. We have arranged top optometrists, ophthalmology and ophthalmic nurses to go and give them the best eye examination and treatment. There's a way you can help.
Help bring a stop to the sight losing ( blindness) in the deprive communities. Make a donation now to help us deliver good eye examination and treatment for the people in deprive communities. Prescription spectacles and eye drops will also be given to them base on the outcome of the eye examination.
Thanks
