Saio Elementary School (REGENT COMMUNITY- NEAR THE MUDSLIDE SITE) is one of the registered schools with the Ministry of Education in Sierra Leone.
The school was establised by an un-educated woman (Saio Conteh) to provide access to vulnerable children at Regent community and it environ.
In this community, most of the parents are stone miners who can not afford basic income to send their children to school. Realizing that this is the same reason that made her unlettered, she (Saio Conteh) desided to use her little resources from her petty business to start up the school.

with the hit of this corona pandemic, most parents cannot provide learning materials for their children to return to school.
on this backdrop, we are hereby soliciting funds to provide bags, books, pens, pencils and even chalk for the school.
