Hello. My name is Grace and am 25years old. I am a single mum living on a 5acre farm in kafue Zambia.
The farm has a hand pump which also has a small 0.5hp solar pump that we pump water into a 5000 litre tank.
My neighborhood relies on this borehole for water. Two months ago, the hand pump developed a fault and it no longer pumps well. The people have turned to the tank water which I use for my gardening.
This has greatly affected my small garden which is my source of income as the solar pump does not pump enough water for my gardening and neighborhood to fetch. Chesing them is not an option as water is life and I too need my garden up and running. Hence looking for a solution to fix both needs
I am hoping to be helped to to fix the hand pump, and buy an electric pump with a small genset to enable all the water needs to be met.
With the electric pump, we will be able to pump enough water for everyone to fetch and also do my gardening.
